What this site records—and what it does not.

Directory and validation forms send only the fields shown before submission. Validation sessions use an anonymous session code and do not ask for a name, email, recording, or free-text response.

When analytics is configured, the site may receive aggregate page and interaction events. Directory entries also offer an optional one-click usefulness signal (useful / not yet) with the entry identifier; it does not collect an account, note, or identity. Automated and internal QA traffic is kept in a separate evidence lane and excluded from public behavior reports.

Working templates and study recovery state stay in the browser. They are not uploaded as a separate record.

Stitch Authority currently has no affiliate redirect endpoint, retailer tracking ID, or first-party affiliate cookie. Directory order is not sold, sponsored, or ranked by commission.

If affiliate or sponsorship relationships are added, each placement will be labeled, kept separate from evidence-based ordering, and documented here before it is used. A retailer may set its own cookie after you leave this site under that retailer's policy.

You can block or delete browser storage and third-party analytics controls in your browser. The public directory, guides, tools, and correction packet flow remain usable without an account.
