The standard covers interpreting design briefs, drafting blocks and prototypes, taking measurements, using manual or CAD systems, overseeing sample production, evaluating size, fit, shape, fall, style and design, rectifying patterns, creating final master patterns, maintaining technical records, and handing production information to staff or suppliers. | YarnSub's official FAQ says its matching software compares gauge, texture, yarn weight and density, fibre content, and fibre qualities such as drape and softness. Discontinued yarns remain searchable as starting points but are excluded from suggestions.
