| What the source establishes | Thailand's Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) says it developed the TCDC Material Database to gather material and operator information from producers and distributors, and Thailand's government information portal describes the database as free to use. The live 2026 Thai interface exposes fabric and textile, leather, apparel and accessory use, commercial, bulk, small-quantity, imported, development, research, and low-capacity filters. It also publishes named material districts, material profiles, operator or shop pages, location and opening information where supplied, and current Material Submission activity. | YarnSub's official FAQ says its matching software compares gauge, texture, yarn weight and density, fibre content, and fibre qualities such as drape and softness. Discontinued yarns remain searchable as starting points but are excluded from suggestions.
