| What the source establishes | The live QUT index says the knowledge base is designed to help users choose an appropriate textile and extend garment use. It links 14 topics: nine named fibre pages, textile blends, re-making, reuse, recycling, and repair. Checked silk, polyester, wool, and blend pages organize information under overview, common fabrics, context of use, care, recycling, and further reading where applicable. QUT identifies TextileR as a research group and publishes named researchers, publications, objectives, and a direct contact. | Optitex's current page describes 2D pattern creation, grading, verification, Tech Pack Essentials, marker creation and nesting, cut and plot output, 3D virtual samples, fabric simulation, colour and print placement, tension maps, and avatar editing.
