| What the source establishes | Australia's National Training Register publishes current unit MSTAT3002, Develop patterns using basic patternmaking principles. The release document describes interpreting textile-product design specifications, considering fabric performance, selecting tools and equipment, developing patterns, testing the result, and making alterations. Release 1 was generated December 22, 2022 and merged two earlier units. Current Australian apparel and live-production qualifications list MSTAT3002, while the current diploma also exposes advanced individual-fit, alteration, and fit-model units. | The Royal School of Needlework operates Stitch Bank as a free public reference with more than 500 hand-embroidery stitches and browsing by use, structure, and embroidery technique. Checked entries include history, alternative names, a structural description, use and technique tags, photographs, illustrations, and numbered written methods. RSN's 2024-25 annual review reports that the collection reached 500 stitches in April 2025 and that its free resources were accessed nearly 500,000 times during the year. |
