Know before usingThe MRSL controls manufacturing inputs within its stated scope. One formulation status or self-generated facility inventory report does not by itself prove a complete or externally verified chemical inventory, actual order recipe, implementation, worker protection, emissions, wastewater performance, or finished-product compliance. Verify the current version, law, brand program, safety rules, formulation identity and status, complete facility and order records, inventory-verification state, and finished-product RSL and testing requirements. It is one curator's intentionally selective, off-Ravelry-oriented database, inventories change, and paid supporters can receive rotating priority placement; verify availability, fibre claims, shipping, and terms directly. The portal does not decide whether a product requires certification, identify the correct rules or certificate data, classify an entry, replace the current 16 CFR part 1110 text, or reconcile a filing to an actual shipment. Effective dates and workflows differ by entry route; use current CPSC, CBP, customs, product-safety, and legal review.

Source and review
What the source establishesZDHC's current scope defines the MRSL as restrictions on intentional use of listed substances in commercial chemical formulations for textile, leather, rubber, foam, adhesive, and trim processing. Covered inputs include cleaners, dyes, auxiliaries, coatings, finishing agents, maintenance, wastewater-treatment, sanitation, and pest-control chemicals. ZDHC identifies version 3.1 as the current official MRSL, distinguishes formulation conformance from finished-product restrictions, and states that an ordinary Performance InCheck facility inventory is self-generated rather than externally verified. The individually researched database offers free listings and sortable yarn, fibre, designer, editor, accessory, and location views; the EU page spans multiple countries and direct seller profiles.CPSC operates the eFiling portal with role-specific importer, broker, applicability, Product Registry, regulated-product, laboratory, ACE, FAQ, video, and document-library routes. The certificate final rule took effect July 8, 2026 for covered non-FTZ products, with separate timing for covered FTZ entries.
