What the source establishes.
The BSMI commodity-labeling page provides the official English criteria, parent Act, fiber-content examples, and apparel care-instruction download. The linked criteria record an October 24, 2022 amendment and May 18, 2023 effective date, define covered apparel and body-worn categories plus exclusions, and require responsible domestic business information, place of origin, fiber or stuffing content, size or measurements, and care instructions. They also expose Chinese-language fiber naming, percentage and tolerance rules, separate component treatment, care categories, durable labeling methods, and alternatives for named product types.

What this record does not prove.
The criteria cover specified apparel and body-worn products and explicitly exclude categories including tailor-made or made-to-measure clothing, footwear, belts, bags, and several other goods. This route does not determine product classification, resolve every component or claim, establish that English text governs, include every later notice or BSMI inspection requirement, approve artwork, prove testing or conformity, clear importation, or provide legal advice. Confirm the governing Chinese text, current notices, exact product scope, responsible party, related inspection and safety rules, label execution, and enforcement interpretation before sale.
