| What the source establishes | The BSMI commodity-labeling page provides the official English criteria, parent Act, fiber-content examples, and apparel care-instruction download. The linked criteria record an October 24, 2022 amendment and May 18, 2023 effective date, define covered apparel and body-worn categories plus exclusions, and require responsible domestic business information, place of origin, fiber or stuffing content, size or measurements, and care instructions. They also expose Chinese-language fiber naming, percentage and tolerance rules, separate component treatment, care categories, durable labeling methods, and alternatives for named product types. |
