Checking whether a PPE standard reference is currently published or scheduled for withdrawal before obtaining the licensed standard and mapping its covered requirements
What the source establishes.
The Commission page identifies Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1279 of June 12, 2026 as the current Official Journal publication for PPE harmonised standards. The decision's Annex I lists EN ISO 20471:2013, corrected version 2013-06-01, together with EN ISO 20471:2013/A1:2016 for high-visibility clothing at the checked date.
The linked responsible-body page states the jurisdiction and requirements summarized in this record.
What this record does not prove.
The Commission says its consolidated summary is informational and may not be complete at every moment; legal effect comes from Official Journal publications. A listed reference does not select the standard for a product, reproduce licensed technical content, cover every essential requirement, prove conformity, or authorize a performance class or CE mark. Recheck the current OJEU publication, obtain the correct controlled standard, and document product-specific coverage and evidence.
A reachable official source can verify identity, stated scope, and access. It cannot silently become an audit of workmanship, delivery, labor conditions, or suitability for your project.
A record that can age in public.
New checks are appended rather than replacing earlier states. The latest source review is due by October 14, 2026.
