Know before usingThe MRSL controls manufacturing inputs within its stated scope. It does not by itself prove a facility's chemical inventory, implementation, worker protection, emissions, wastewater performance, formulation conformance, or finished-product compliance. Verify the current version, law, brand program, safety rules, chemical-product certificates and status, facility records, and finished-product RSL and testing requirements.Pricing is not public, modules and system requirements must be confirmed, and macOS is not supported. Vendor accuracy and fit language does not prove results for an actual product. Pilot native and exchanged files with the receiving supplier, calibrated materials, approved blocks and grade rules, marker and output devices, tech-pack fields, training, version control, and risk-appropriate physical fit and production checks. The record does not create a production grade, supply universal increments or breakpoints, validate a CAD file or fit population, reproduce licensed standards, or replace qualified anthropometric, pattern, technical-design, fit, quality, accessibility, safety, statistical, and user-research review. This is Woolmark-operated education focused on wool, not a neutral comparison of all fibres or processing systems. A completion badge records coursework, not independent proof of production competence, product performance, environmental impact, or compliance. Confirm technical values and local requirements against current standards before production use.

Source and review
What the source establishesZDHC's current scope defines the MRSL as restrictions on intentional use of listed substances in commercial chemical formulations for textile, leather, rubber, foam, adhesive, and trim processing. Covered inputs include cleaners, dyes, auxiliaries, coatings, finishing agents, maintenance, wastewater-treatment, sanitation, and pest-control chemicals. ZDHC's help centre identifies version 3.1 as the current official MRSL and distinguishes it from restrictions measured in finished products.Optitex's current page describes 2D pattern creation, grading, verification, Tech Pack Essentials, marker creation and nesting, cut and plot output, 3D virtual samples, fabric simulation, colour and print placement, tension maps, and avatar editing. Its support page lists native and standard CAD interchange routes and states that Optitex does not support macOS.The guide cites current ISO body-table, size-designation, and garment-measurement boundaries plus two peer-reviewed studies that tested the relationship between conventional grade rules, anthropometric evidence, and garment fit; it requires product-specific target deltas and validation instead of publishing universal increments. The current Woolmark Learning Centre library publishes free account-based coursework with module counts, completion times, progress tracking, knowledge checks, and supporting resources. Its wool programs cover fibre science, raw-wool and yarn processing, dyeing and finishing, woven textiles, knitwear, product quality, and wastewater management for learners and facilitators.

How to compare

Use the rows to narrow your next check.

  1. Choose resources that could solve the same job.
  2. Eliminate access, scope, or jurisdiction mismatches.
  3. Read each limitation before following the source.
  4. Verify project-specific claims with the source or provider.
