Know before usingThe MRSL controls manufacturing inputs within its stated scope. It does not by itself prove a facility's chemical inventory, implementation, worker protection, emissions, wastewater performance, formulation conformance, or finished-product compliance. Verify the current version, law, brand program, safety rules, chemical-product certificates and status, facility records, and finished-product RSL and testing requirements.A virtual sample or coloured fit map is not proof of physical fit, comfort, construction quality, manufacturability, or graded-size approval. Results depend on pattern geometry, sewing, avatar measurements and pose, fabric physical-property data, trims, mesh, and simulation settings. Current releases have substantial hardware and learning requirements; validate representative fabrics, bodies, movements, and sewn samples physically. This is Woolmark-operated education focused on wool, not a neutral comparison of all fibres or processing systems. A completion badge records coursework, not independent proof of production competence, product performance, environmental impact, or compliance. Confirm technical values and local requirements against current standards before production use.

Source and review
What the source establishesZDHC's current scope defines the MRSL as restrictions on intentional use of listed substances in commercial chemical formulations for textile, leather, rubber, foam, adhesive, and trim processing. Covered inputs include cleaners, dyes, auxiliaries, coatings, finishing agents, maintenance, wastewater-treatment, sanitation, and pest-control chemicals. ZDHC's help centre identifies version 3.1 as the current official MRSL and distinguishes it from restrictions measured in finished products.CLO's current product and support documentation covers linked 2D pattern work and 3D garment simulation on avatars, grading review by size, fabric and garment visualization, fit maps for stress, strain, pressure, and tightness, and rendering and presentation output. Current system requirements publish separate Windows and Apple Silicon baselines and higher recommendations for complex simulation and rendering. The current Woolmark Learning Centre library publishes free account-based coursework with module counts, completion times, progress tracking, knowledge checks, and supporting resources. Its wool programs cover fibre science, raw-wool and yarn processing, dyeing and finishing, woven textiles, knitwear, product quality, and wastewater management for learners and facilitators.

How to compare

Use the rows to narrow your next check.

  1. Choose resources that could solve the same job.
  2. Eliminate access, scope, or jurisdiction mismatches.
  3. Read each limitation before following the source.
  4. Verify project-specific claims with the source or provider.
