| What the source establishes | At review time, the public supplier route reported 207 companies across 18 result pages and exposed filters for yarn, fabrics, apparel and accessories, trimmings, and related products and services. Supplier profiles showed declared company descriptions, categories, products, contact details, addresses, and websites where supplied. TaiwanTextiles identifies the Taiwan Textile Federation's trade-promotion role. | YarnSub's official FAQ says its matching software compares gauge, texture, yarn weight and density, fibre content, and fibre qualities such as drape and softness. Discontinued yarns remain searchable as starting points but are excluded from suggested replacements, and each yarn page provides a route to report source-data problems. | Knitty currently publishes web-only editorial issues containing original knitting and crochet patterns and articles.
