Know before usingA chain-of-custody record applies only to the named organization and scope; verify the exact product claim, current status, supplier role, artwork approval, and transaction documentation for each order.A factory profile, platform label, bid, estimate, or message does not establish current identity, factory ownership, capability, capacity, workmanship, pricing, compliance, delivery, or project fit. Paid-plan visibility can affect who responds. Verify the production site, subcontracting, references, samples, quality and compliance records, specifications, commercial terms, and remedies directly. The portal does not decide whether a product requires certification, identify the correct rules or certificate data, classify an entry, replace the current 16 CFR part 1110 text, or reconcile a filing to an actual shipment. Effective dates and workflows differ by entry route; use current CPSC, CBP, customs, product-safety, and legal review.

Source and review
What the source establishesPEFC describes the database as a current discovery and verification route for certified organizations, certificate validity, countries, product scope, sourcing, and due diligence.Maker's Row currently lets a brand submit a project before advance sign-up, then provides access to an account. Its project workflow records product details and files and connects projects with factories by location and specialty. Search guidance lists apparel capabilities such as pattern making, sourcing, sample making, and production. Factory access to bids is plan-dependent.CPSC operates the eFiling portal with role-specific importer, broker, applicability, Product Registry, regulated-product, laboratory, ACE, FAQ, video, and document-library routes. The certificate final rule took effect July 8, 2026 for covered non-FTZ products, with separate timing for covered FTZ entries.
