| What the source establishes | INMETRO's FAQ, updated April 8, 2026 at the checked date, identifies Law 5.956/1973, Decree 75.074/1974, and INMETRO Ordinance 118/2021 as the central instruments. It says national and imported textile products must identify constituent fibers and that required information must be applied permanently to each unit.
