INMETRO's FAQ, updated April 8, 2026 at the checked date, identifies Law 5.956/1973, Decree 75.074/1974, and INMETRO Ordinance 118/2021 as the central instruments. It says national and imported textile products must identify constituent fibers and that required information must be applied permanently to each unit. INMETRO also publishes an official illustrated textile-products booklet linked as the review source.
