| What the source establishes | Sri Lanka Export Development Board identifies itself as the statutory export-development and promotion body established under Act No. 40 of 1979 and a provider of export-business information. Its Apparel & Textiles Standards page separates legal and non-legal, mandatory, voluntary, and niche European-market requirements. It links a live CBI overview last updated June 4, 2025, which groups mandatory legal requirements, buyer terms, additional expectations, and niche-market requirements and routes users to official systems including EU Access2Markets, EUR-Lex, and the European Chemicals Agency.
