| What the source establishes | CONOCER's current publications register lists EC1784, and the 13-page standard records publication on February 23, 2026. It identifies the Government of Oaxaca competency committee, states that the framework can support evaluation, certification, training, and education, and separates four elements: preparing materials and tools, mounting the backstrap loom, weaving the textile, and completing the traditional finish. The document also names required performances, products, knowledge, attitudes, and glossary terms. | YarnSub's official FAQ says its matching software compares gauge, texture, yarn weight and density, fibre content, and fibre qualities such as drape and softness. Discontinued yarns remain searchable as starting points but are excluded from suggested replacements, and each yarn page provides a route to report source-data problems. | Threadloop's official guide describes an independent, fully crowdsourced database covering available and out-of-print sewing patterns.
