The connected result system can expose the standard, amendments, gazette notifications, schemes of inspection and testing, licensees, recognized laboratories, classification details, and responsible committee. BIS separately explains that certification is generally voluntary but can become compulsory through a central-government Quality Control Order, with current scheme and product routes linked from its compulsory-certification page. | Threadloop's official guide describes an independent, fully crowdsourced database covering available and out-of-print sewing patterns. Its search supports pattern type, fabric type, age group, body type, cup size, level, format, file features, language, measurements, availability, and other filters; members can also track a stash, wishlist, projects, reviews, and discussions. | Knitty currently publishes web-only editorial issues containing original knitting and crochet patterns and articles.
