| What the source establishes | The Australian Government Federal Register of Legislation marks F2023L01187, the Consumer Goods (Care Labelling) Information Standard 2023, as in force, administered by the Department of the Treasury, authorised by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, and current at the registered September 4, 2023 version. The instrument commenced September 5, 2023 under subsection 134(1) of the Australian Consumer Law. It defines regulated goods and detailed exemptions. After its two transition periods, section 10 requires regulated goods to use either section 11's varied AS/NZS 1957:1998 route or section 12's ISO 3758:2012 Clause 4 route. | Knitty currently publishes web-only editorial issues containing original knitting and crochet patterns and articles. Its legal page states that patterns are free for one person's personal use, identifies each designer or author as the copyright holder, and explains that verified pattern corrections are posted in bright pink on the pattern page. |
