The association describes it as a regularly updated reference to laws and regulations restricting chemicals in finished apparel, footwear, accessories, and home textiles. Its methodology records final-product or component limits, jurisdiction, test method, and comments, and excludes factory-process restrictions and non-chemical product-safety rules. | The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Product Safety page identifies the Consumer Goods (Care Labelling) Information Standard 2023 as the mandatory rule for prescribed clothing, household textiles, furnishings, bedding, piece goods, textile yarns, leather, fur, and other listed goods.
