What the source establishes.
Serbia's official open-data portal identifies the Serbian Business Registers Agency as publisher and links a JSON API intended for automated download and processing. It documents legal identity, registered office, status, foundation date, legal form, activity code, and a monthly update schedule. At the checked date, the live API exposed a June 30, 2026 snapshot of 133,802 companies. Filtering the registered activity code to divisions 13, 14, and 15 returned 1,432 companies, of which 1,272 had active status.
The linked record system is maintained by the organization responsible for the certificates, approvals, or program records it exposes.
What this record does not prove.
This is a large technical company-register download, not a supplier interface, manufacturer directory, facility register, or approval system. It includes liquidation, forced-liquidation, and bankruptcy statuses unless filtered, and the registered predominant activity does not prove factory ownership, operating facility, every performed process, or willingness to accept outside work. The company dataset can omit sole proprietors represented in separate registry populations. It provides no capability, capacity, minimum, price, workmanship, certificate, labor-condition, delivery, or project-fit evidence. Filter status and activity, then confirm each legal entity, site, process, and commercial claim directly.
A reachable official source can verify identity, stated scope, and access. It cannot silently become an audit of workmanship, delivery, labor conditions, or suitability for your project.
