Building a location-specific list of Mexican fabric, notions, yarn, thread, textile, or related businesses before checking retail access and current inventory
What the source establishes.
INEGI's 2025 DENUE documentation describes more than 6 million active economic units, searchable nationwide by name, economic activity, size, and geography, with location and available contact fields. The directory is free to use and draws on the 2024 Economic Censuses plus later updates.
The linked public-body directory describes and maintains the records or discovery route summarized here for its stated program and jurisdiction.
What this record does not prove.
This is a general government business directory, not a textile-only shop guide, live inventory, or supplier approval. Coverage excludes itinerant businesses, daily removable stalls, and many units in very small rural localities. Confirm current operation, retail access, stock, fiber and product claims, width, weight, lot, cut minimum, price, payment, accessibility, shipping, returns, and project fit directly.
A reachable official source can verify identity, stated scope, and access. It cannot silently become an audit of workmanship, delivery, labor conditions, or suitability for your project.
A record that can age in public.
New checks are appended rather than replacing earlier states. The latest source review is due by January 12, 2027.
