Confirming the current Kenyan Level 5 Fashion Design unit mix before requesting the full occupational standard, curriculum, assessment conditions, or provider details
What the source establishes.
Kenya's TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council publishes Fashion Design code 072305T4FSH as a Level 5, Cycle 03 curriculum in its live course register. Opening the curriculum exposes 16 unit rows, including FAS/OS/FD/CC/03/5/MA, Apply Pattern Construction and Grading Principles, with a credit factor of 16. The ledger also names textile-material principles, fashion design and sketching, sewing-machine operations, basic ladies' and gents' garments, styled garments, ladies' wear, gents' wear, decorated fabrics, and a 48-credit industry-training unit. The council's approved occupational-standards and curricula list independently names Fashion Design at Levels 4 and 5 and Fashion Design Management at Level 6.
The linked record system is maintained by the organization responsible for the certificates, approvals, or program records it exposes.
What this record does not prove.
The public curriculum modal exposes unit codes, names, credit factors, level, and cycle but not the full pattern-construction outcomes, grading method, assessment evidence, provider list, schedule, price, accessibility, equipment, software, or delivery status. It is not a course opening, enrollment offer, provider recommendation, qualification award, practitioner certification, universal block or grading system, ready pattern, or proof that an individual can perform the work. The portal can reorder records, and the public pages do not fully explain Cycle 03's relationship to earlier versions. Confirm the live code, full unit and assessment documents, current approved provider, admission, delivery, award, costs, support, and product-specific pattern and fit evidence directly.
A reachable official source can verify identity, stated scope, and access. It cannot silently become an audit of workmanship, delivery, labor conditions, or suitability for your project.
A record that can age in public.
New checks are appended rather than replacing earlier states. The latest source review is due by October 14, 2026.
