Know before usingThis is a national qualification gateway and competency package, not a course-opening notice, enrollment offer, provider recommendation, practitioner directory, ready-to-use pattern, universal block or grading system, or proof that a person completed the outcomes. The PDF says the qualification may be reviewed in December 2022 but does not state on that page whether the review occurred; its separate currency statement runs through December 2029, and the qualification remains listed on NAVTTC's live gateway. Confirm the current package, amendments, approved provider, admission, delivery, assessment, award, equipment, safety, cost, accessibility, and product- and population-specific fit evidence directly before relying on it.

What the source establishesPakistan's National Vocational and Technical Training Commission lists Fashion Design qualifications at Levels 2 through 5 in its live qualifications gateway. The connected 174-page Level 5 Fashion Designing and Dress Making standard says the qualification was validated May 20 to 22, 2019 and remains in currency until December 2029. Its core competencies include pattern drafting and making, pattern construction, basic and advanced draping, garment design, and CAD for fashion. Published outcomes cover body measurement, skirt, bodice, trouser, collar, and sleeve blocks, pattern variations, dart and style manipulation, seam allowance, notches, grain lines, sample development, measurement checks, and fit testing. The standard identifies assessment evidence, tools, theory and practical hours, and a three-year qualification structure.
