What the source establishes.
Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution's live gateway links a 315-product base list published June 3, 2025, a 13-product gazette dated January 29, 2026, and a later seven-product gazette dated June 23, 2026. The base list labels one section Jute and Textile Products and names standards for poplin fabric BDS 32:2024, cotton sewing thread BDS 33:2021, woven polyester-blend shirtings BDS 1148:2021 and suitings BDS 1175:2021, industrial sewing thread BDS 1221:2021, handloom cotton lungi cloth BDS 1331:2024, silk fabrics BDS 1467:2021, textile color-fastness ratings BDS 1758:2022, towels and towelling BDS 1898:2024, Jamdani sari BDS 1920:2024, nonwoven wipes BDS 2017:2023, and other jute, textile, hygiene, and household products. The January gazette adds blanket BDS 1456:2013. The June gazette adds man-made-fibre saris BDS 1490:2007 and women's and girls' woven dress fabrics BDS 1940:2018. What this record does not prove.
The gateway heading still says 328 mandatory products, which reflects the 315-item base plus the January 13-item publication but does not account for the later seven-item June gazette linked on the same page. Do not infer one definitive current total from that heading. The base list's section labeled 31 jute and textile products also places Steviol Glycosides at its final numbered row, so the section count and category placement require manual interpretation. The gateway identifies products, standard numbers, publication dates, and gazettes; it does not reproduce every full standard, classify a specific product, identify every amendment, test a sample, issue or verify a Certification Marks license, approve packaging or labeling, determine an import route, or provide legal advice. Confirm the latest gazettes, product scope, standard edition and amendments, full text, certification scheme, licensee status, testing, packaging registration, import policy, marking, and local requirements directly with BSTI and qualified support before manufacture, import, or sale.
A reachable official source can verify identity, stated scope, and access. It cannot silently become an audit of workmanship, delivery, labor conditions, or suitability for your project.
