Independent practitioner study · self-guided lane

Three tasks. Your own device. No sales pitch.

This runner records whether people can find, compare, and challenge textile resources. This lane can expose friction at scale, but it does not count as moderated validation.

Before the first task

We are testing the site, not you.

Use your normal device and work as you ordinarily would. Choose the closest outcome after each task; there is no score and no correct route.

  1. Start cold. Each task opens the homepage in a new tab. Do not prepare search terms in advance.
  2. Work naturally.Do not study the site first. Search, browse, and judge results in your usual way.
  3. You can stop.Participation is voluntary. Stop the session or skip any activity that feels uncomfortable.
Choose the cohort that best matches how you would use the site.

What this runner records

An anonymous session code, cohort, study mode, task outcome, one friction category, and elapsed time. It does not ask for or send your name, email, free-text notes, business details, audio, video, or screen recording. Hosting infrastructure may retain ordinary request metadata. Read the participant information sheet for use, retention, and withdrawal details.

Self-guided results are analyzed as discovery signals. They never count toward the ten-session moderated validation gate.

Self-guided task events are reported in a separate evidence lane and cannot satisfy the ten-session moderated milestone.
